GX-9901-DX Gundam Double X
echnology & Combat Characteristics
The GX-9901-DX Gundam DX was created by mobile suit engineers of the newly formed New United Nations Earth(NUNE). NUNE engineers reversed engineered the MS technology of GX-9900 Gundam X and created a more powerful version from the original. Doubling (if not tripling) the capabilities Gundam X had, they dubbed the unit as Double X.
Double X was largely replicated MS technology off of Gundam X. NUNE engineers installed new reflector panels (6 large ones mounted to the back, plus smaller ones on the forearms and calves) to increase DX's microwave energy absorption. This new Gundam contains the brain wave patterns of Jamil Neate during the 7th Space War, allowing it to use its Satellite Cannons without a Newtype as its pilot. Equipped with two Satellite Cannons as part of its frame, the Gundam Double X is able to unleash double the destructive force of the Gundam X. The power of the twin Satellite Cannon was demonstrated byGarrod Ran when he used them to destroy the island of Zonder Epta with one shot from the cannons. The destructive power was again shown when used to destroy the Colony Laser that was developed by the Space Revolutionary Army. Because of the destructive power of the Gundam Double X, it can only be operated by a pilot that has a G-Controller. This insures that the Gundam can not be operated, acting as a safety mechanism. However, while the Double X has its own new G-Controller, the interface remains the same as that used previously by the Gundam X. This means that even without the Double X's G-Controller, it can still be operated by anyone who has an older-model G-Con of the type used in the GX - as demonstrated by Garrod, who stole the Double X in this manner.
The Gundam Double X is also equipped with two hyper beam sabers that are attached to its hip skirt armor, one on each side. This is a change from the Gundam X design, which had only one beam saber mounted to the back of the Satellite Cannon. Additional standard weaponry are the vulcan cannons and breast launchers mounted to the main body of the Gundam. Because of its similarities to the Gundam X, the Gundam Double X is also able to join with a support aircraft developed for the Gundam X called the GS-9900 G-Falcon. While joined with the G-Falcon, the Gundam Double X is not able to use some of its weapons, but has the ability to use the weapons equipped to the aft section of the G-Falcon. Also, while joined with the G-Falcon, the Gundam Double X is able to safely re-enter Earth's atmosphere.

GX-9900 Gundam X
Technology & Combat Characteristics
Built at the height of MS advancement by the UNE, the GX-9900 series is one of the most advanced MS of its time. The series was mass-produced and pressed into service near the end of the 7th Space War. After the environmental devastation at the end of the 7th Space War, MS development on Earth became stagnant as humanity recovered; Gundam X and its brethren Gundam series remains top-of-the-line after 15 years. Because the UNE no longer existed, there was no regulation over the Gundams and they found new life in the hands of theVultures. It's because of Vulture-use that no two Gundam X are exactly alike.
Armaments
- Satellite Cannon
- The satellite cannon is the single most powerful weapon mounted on a mobile suit in the After War timeline. The cannon is powered by a microwave beam emitted from the satellite system on the moon, which the GX absorbs through its chest, and stores it in the backpack mounted reflector panels until the cannon is ready to fire. A newtype pilot is required in order to contact the satellite system for firing. After the first use, a newtype is no longer required as the newtype's brainwaves are registered in the system. When in use, the satellite cannon deploys over the GX's right shoulder.
- Shield Buster Rifle
- The GX's main armament. The Shield buster Rifle is a unique weapon that can instantaneously transform from a beam rifle to a shield and back again. It's beam rifle mode is strong enough to cause serious damage to enemy suits, and its shield mode is thick enough to withstand most projectiles and prolonged exposure to a beam saber.
- Large Beam Sword
- Stored on the end of the satellite cannon, the Beam sword is the GX's main close-range weapon. It is more powerful than a standard beam saber. A unique feature of the beam sword is it's plus-shaped blade.

- The GX mounts four vulcan guns in its chest. These weapons are useful for causing light damage to enemies and downing incoming projectiles such as missiles.

- An optional ground-combat weapon, it is equipped on a hard point on the backpack in the upper left corner (left shoulder).

- Based on the Shield Buster Rifle, it is essentially the shield separated and semi-fixed on the left arm. It is possible to store the Buster Sheath Rifle within the shield. It is equipped on Rick Aller's unit.

- A modified form of the Holster Shield that features a claw arm.

- Based on the Shield Buster Rifle, it is essentially the rifle portion separated to function solely as a gun. It is equipped on Rick Aller's unit.

- An improvement of the Buster Sheath Rifle that features two barrels. It can fire two beams with different speeds simultaneously.

GAT-X105 Strike Gundam
Technology & Combat Characteristics
The Strike Gundam is the most versatile of the five Gundams in the Earth Alliance's G Project and can be easily configured for various types of combat. Using its Striker Packs, it can be outfitted for high mobility combat (Aile Strike), long range heavy assault (Launcher Strike) or melee combat (Sword Strike). In addition, the Striker packs are also equipped with backup batteries that can extend the Strike's operation time. Built on the X100 series frame first adopted by the Duel, the Strike also has the Phase Shift armor system. In terms of armament, the Strike itself is equipped only with two head-mounted CIWS and a pair of combat knives stored in the hips, but it can also be optionally armed with a bazooka, a shield and a beam rifle. Because of its bright blue, red and white color phase-shifted scheme, the Strike is easily the most visually distinctive of the five (with the possible exception of the bright red-colored GAT-X303 Aegis). Later on, the Strike Gundam was equipped with a Natural-use OS to allow its new pilot, Mu La Flaga, to control the suit effectively.
Armaments
- "Igelstellung" 75mm multi-barrel Anti Air CIWS
- Mounted in the Strike's head are two "Igelstellung" 75mm multi-barrel CIWS guns. These light projectile weapons are used to intercept missiles and to destroy lightly armored vehicles, although it is classified as Anti Air.
- "Armor Schneider" Combat Knife
- Stored in the Strike's hips are a pair of folding "Armor Schneider" combat knives. These knives do not need power from the suit, can be thrown, and their blades vibrate at high speed allowing them to pierce through most armor except PS armor.
- 57mm High-energy Beam Rifle
- An optional armament, the beam rifle can be stored on the side skirt. This is the primary ranged combat weapon and can easily destroy a ZGMF-1017 GINN with one shot, but is mostly ineffective against suits with anti-beam coating. It has an additional handle that can shift to the side, and is often used for extra stability when the Strike is firing its rifle rapidly.
- Bazooka
- An optional ranged weapon, the bazooka fires explosive shells and is loaded with four magazines. As it is a conventional weapon, it does not draw power from the Strike's battery and this results in extended combat endurance. Another advantage is that the bazooka can be used underwater, unlike a beam rifle. The disadvantage of the weapon is that its greater size and weight makes it somewhat less mobile then the beam rifle. In Gundam SEED RE: the bazooka had an alternate Shrapnel munition.
- Shield
- The shield is an optional piece of handheld equipment designed to increase the Strike's defensive capability. The shield does not have phase shift armor, so it is not as durable as the Strike's armor, however it also does not drain energy each time it is hit. The shield's major advantage is that it is anti-beam coated and can block or deflect beam weapon attacks, against which phase shift armor is ineffective.

- A large sword developed by the ZAFT, but used by the Strike to take down enemy mobile suits. Seen only in episode 08 of Gundam Evolve.
xvm-fzc Gundam Legilis
Technology & Combat Characteristics
The first Gundam-type mobile suit developed by the Vagan, the Gundam Legilis is built based on the data of the capturedAGE-3O Gundam AGE-3 Orbital [1] combined with data obtained from EXA-DB [2]. As the unit is reversed engineered, it incorporates newer technologies gathered while studying the Gundam with some mobile suit concept and design derived from older Vagan suits. The Legilis is equipped with several vernier thrusters throughout its body, giving it higher speed as well as increased maneuverability over almost all other mobile suits of its time. The eye sensor of the Legilis is also the most unique out of all Vagan suits as it can change, assuming the standard Vagan type or the Gundam-type [3]. Its main camera is a standard slit-shaped type that can expand to a Gundam-type twin eye during operation to improve search operation capabilities [4].
Furthermore, the Legilis's ability to sympathetically resonate with X-Rounder pilot is superior to all older X-Rounder mobile suits, allowing it to perfectly follow the movements of even the most powerful X-Rounders, like its pilot Zeheart Galette. In terms of armaments, the Legilis is equipped with some weapons that are unorthodox to Vagan mobile suits. Examples of this are the Legilis's Rifle and Shield. The Legilis also features some standard Vagan armaments as well, such as the tail Beam Rifle and the Beam Buster.

- Beam Buster
- The Beam Buster is a chest mounted, powerful beam weapon that possesses the power to destroy a few mobile suits in one shot. It is presumably more powerful than thexvt-zgc Ghirarga's Beam Buster.

- Besides the common hand mounted beam vulcans among Vagan mobile suits, the Legilis also has head mounted ones. These beam weapons have a high-rate of fire and are moderately powerful. They have been shown able to destroy small vehicles, buildings, and even mobile suits. In addition to being a ranged weapon, the hand beam vulcans are able to generate beam sabers for close range combat.

- Beam Saber
- The beam saber is the basic close range combat
- weapon of many mobile suits, both Federation and Vagan alike. However unlike the Federation beam saber, the beam saber used by Vagan mobile suits are generally mounted on the unit's hands, as opposed to being hand held like the Federation beam sabers. The beam saber of the Vagan mobile suits are generated from the unit's beam vulcans, allowing Vagan mobile suits to switch quickly from ranged combat to close range combat. The beam saber can easily cut through most mobile suits.
- Legilis Cannon (Tail)
- The Legilis Cannon is a long-range beam rifle that can be positioned under either shoulders or in between the legs when in use, it possesses the power to destroy most mobile suits in one shot. Serves as the Legilis's tail when not in use.

- The Legilis Rifle is a hand-carried armament of the Gundam Legilis and functions as the Legilis's primary ranged weapon. Its firepower is stronger than the Legilis Cannon's.

- The Gundam Legilis's shield is a simple defensive armament that protects the Legilis from enemy attacks and further boosts the suit's defensive capabilities as it already features the Electromagnetic Armor, a standard Vagan defense system. Lastly, the Legilis's shield also serves as the unit's Particle Bit Generator.
- It is notable that the Gundam Legilis is the first and only Vagan mobile suits to use a shield, which is the standard defensive armament of Federation mobile suits.

- Legilis Bit
- The Legilis Bit are all-range beam particle remote weaponry controlled by X-Rounder brainwaves. These bits can quickly take down an mobile suit squad with relative ease. They can also shield the Gundam Legilis from beam attacks by creating a barrier around it, similar to Gundam AGE-FX's C-Funnel barrier. The Legilis's bits are generated by the unit's shield.

- The Gundam Legilis uses a Core Block System similar to the AGE-3O Gundam AGE-3 Orbital, dubbed the "Legilis Core." This feature was reversed-engineered from the captured AGE-3 Orbital. The core unit, where the cockpit is located, can be detached from Gundam Legilis. This feature is similar to how the Core Fighter is used on the various Gundam AGE-3 forms. When separated, the Legilis Core can transform into a dragon-shaped unit, which consists of the Legilis's head, inner torso, its back (where its wings will be expanded) and its tail beam rifle.

- The Gundam Legilis's Beam Particle Generator is located inside the unit's shield, the Particle Bit Generator is a special system that allows the Legilis to deploy and use particle bits. The Legilis's Particle Bit Generator is an improved version of the xvt-zgc Ghirarga's X-Transmitters.
